Fotografie + English: Postal stamp of the Republic of China, commemorating the taking of office by Chiang Kai-shek 蔣介石 on 10 October 1943. The stamp is a steel engraving depicting Chiang Kai-shek in front of the Flag of the Republic of China. The inscription reads 蔣主席就職紀念 from right to left in small Seal Script which translates to „commemoration of the inauguration of chairman Chiang“. The line below states the date of 中華民國32年10月10日, that is ROC 10 October 32 or 10 October 1943. The denomination of the stamp is 貳圓, that is two Yuan. Issuer is 中華民國郵政, the Post of the Republic of China.
